La Jolla Research Campus

La Jolla, California, USA. This 850,000 square foot drug discovery campus was designed to consolidate groups from twelve different buildings in the La Jolla area to improve researcher adjacencies and streamline the drug discovery pipeline. The campus includes a variety of chemistry labs, molecular biology labs and many support facilities, e.g. high throughput screening, NMR, x-ray crystallography, formulation labs, scale-up. Also included are administrative facilities, cafeteria, company store, fitness center, copy center, conference facilities and campus library. 

Kornberg Associates produced a master plan for two separate sites, programmed the campus, and designed the interiors of eight research buildings for Pfizer's La Jolla campus.
